What is a landfill compactor? A landfill compactor could be described as a mix between a bulldozer and a double drum roller with so called pad foot drums. The landfill compactor is used - as the name suggests - for compacting waste or other bulky and heterogene material. Besides, the landfill compactor is used in earth moving works for compactation, leveling or padding. The landfill compactor is equipped with a big front blade, similar to the bulldozer´s blade. In Europe, landfill compactors are normally used between 20 to 35 tons weight.
